Turns out, spotting wildlife is actually pretty easy and we saw far more animals than we ever thought we would. A caiman spotted in Tortuguero. As the capital city, there are a lot of people trying to survive which can make tourists the perfect target for opportunistic crimes like pickpocketing. For us, it was money well spent!
